The Cape Cod weekend foray is once again happening this year! We will be searching for mushrooms in pitch pine barrens, cedar swamps, beech forests, and interdunal bogs. Dr. Rosalind Lowen, mycologist and honorary research assistant at the New York Botanical Garden, will be our resident mycologist. Accommodations are in four rustic cottages with shared second-floor bedrooms and baths. Meals are served family style in the center’s dining room. For your safety and the safety of those around you, we ask that participants be fully vaccinated. You may also be asked to wear a mask as you crowd around the ID table or during other group activities.
REGISTRATION for the weekend will open at noon on Sept 16th. To reserve your place(s), send an email to Judy, judyjacob@gmail.com, with the number of people in your party; she will send you information on where to send payment. There are roughly 25 places; once we reach capacity, we will put registrants on a wait list. Full refunds will be given for cancellations before October 1st.
